The anti-cancer properties of Lunasin are well documented in peer reviewed scientific literature. Pubmed, the website for the US National Library of Medicine, lists 46 publications on Lunasin of which 29 are from the laboratory of Prof. Ben de Lumen at UC Berkeley.

The publications document the efficacy of Lunasin against skin and breast cancer so far in cell culture and animal models. Based on the observation that Lunasin interferes with the early steps of carcinogenesis, it is likely that Lunasin would work against many different types of cancer.
