23 Unlike MS Bodley 577 there are details in the decoration of the Lambeth drawing, for example on the sleeves and head-dresses of a few of the nuns, which need some consideration. 25 The composition of the drawing represented in Lambeth Palace, MS 200 embraces both facets of those found in MS Bodley 577. Aldhelm is again shown tonsured and placed in a semi-Evangelistic pose, while the nuns humbly receive the work offered to them by the saint. However, there appear to be some inconsistencies within the composition.
